This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, how information received through third-party services such as Google OAuth is handled, and the choices available to you.

By using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information that you provide directly to us, information generated when you use our Services, and information received from third-party authentication providers.

1.2 Information Received Through Google Sign-In

If you choose to sign in or create an account using Google OAuth, we may receive information from your Google Account that is made available through the authorization you provide.

Depending on the permissions requested by our application, this may include:

  • Your Google Account email address

3. Google User Data and Google API Services

Our use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Google user data obtained through Google APIs is used only for purposes that are necessary to provide or improve the user-facing features of our application.

We do not use Google user data for:

4. Google API Permissions

Before accessing information from your Google Account, our application requests the permissions necessary for the relevant functionality.

You can review and manage the access granted to applications connected to your Google Account through your Google Account security settings.

If you revoke the application’s Google Account access, we will no longer be able to obtain new information from Google through the revoked authorization.

Revoking Google access does not necessarily delete information that has already been stored in your BK DevOps account. To request deletion of stored personal information, please follow the deletion procedure described in Section 8 of this Privacy Policy.

5. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

We may share information only when reasonably necessary to operate and provide our Services.

Business Transfers

If BK DevOps is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable privacy laws.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or destruction.

Information transmitted between your browser and our Services is protected using HTTPS/TLS encryption where supported.

Access to stored information is restricted to authorized personnel and service providers who require access to perform their responsibilities.

However, no method of transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security of information.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our Services, maintain user accounts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect our legitimate business interests.

Google user data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the functionality for which it was collected, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.

8. Data Deletion and Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your BK DevOps account and associated personal information at any time.

To request deletion, contact us using the contact information provided in Section 11 and include the email address associated with your account.

After receiving and verifying a valid deletion request, we will delete or anonymize applicable personal information within 30 days, unless we are legally required or permitted to retain certain information.

Some information may need to be retained where required by law, for legitimate security purposes, to prevent fraud or abuse, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Deleting your BK DevOps account does not automatically delete your Google Account. Your Google Account remains under Google’s control.
